You will learn to:
Identify Signs
Detect common mental health challenges like depression, anxiety, and substance use disorders.
Provide Support
How to approach individuals sensitively and offer non-judgmental support.
Assess Risk
Effectively assess risks and guide individuals towards appropriate resources.
Self-Care
Gain techniques for maintaining your own wellbeing while supporting others.
Our training is designed to accommodate the busy schedules of professionals, offering flexibility in format and scheduled timing.
Face-to-Face:
2 x 6 hour sessions over 2 days
Blended Learning:
Self-paced eLearning (5-7 hours), followed by a 4 hours face-to-face session
Blended Online:
Self-paced eLearning (5-7 hours), followed by 2 x 2.5 hours video conferencing sessionÂ
Internationally recognised certification:
You will receive an MHFA certificate upon the successful completion of the training and online assessment.
